The Financial Institution
Relations & Outreach (FIRO) program is an extension
of the Boston Reserve Bank's commitment to maintaining
strong, interactive communications with New England bankers and facilitate mutually beneficial exchanges.
FIRO was launched to maintain close contact with First District financial institutions through a variety of communication avenues. FIRO’s mission is to provide New England
financial institutions and banking organizations
direct access to the nation’s central bank. FIRO also maintains relationships with all First District depository institutions, state banking associations, and industry groups.
